How to get what you want

Ahh, the joys of networking. Intermingling with people in search of what you do not know. I’ve attended quite a few events these past few weeks and gained many things well beyond the search to expand my clientele. Actually, the expansion has yet to come to fruition, but I suspect it might as the end of the year and the approach of tax deadlines inch ever so nearer.The actual joy is the time I spend answering questions and learning things that I didn’t even know I was missing. I asked our speaker at the event this evening about how to start a financial literacy course, and while she didn’t even really have a chance to answer another woman standing there opened my eyes to an approach that would speak volumes to anyone. “How do you get what you want?”
